What if I am unable to make the scheduled game?

If your team is unable to make the game for various reasons, this includes weather and bus cancellations, please first try to contact the opposing team’s coach ASAP to reschedule that game to a time that is convenient for both teams. When do the sport seasons run?

Intermediate Boys and Girls Basketball – February- April

Junior Boys and Girls basketball is typically from January-February.

Intermediate Boys and Girls Volleyball – October-December.

I am new to coaching, what do I need to do?

Check over the Coaches Checklist carefully. Print and collect the CTAA health consent PRIOR to any tryout. You are required to have all health information on you at all times. Once team is made, collect transportation forms and review the rules for the sport. Organize referees and scorekeepers for your home games. Check the schedule on the website. Submit your scores ASAP after the games.

How are playoff divisions determined?

There are many factors that go into determining Playoff divisions (besides a team’s win/loss record). All playoff divisions are made keeping in mind the association’s general aims.
